I wasn’t brave enough to anticipate my own professional career as a musician, but I’ve always known that I want to do something with music.
So I headed behind the scenes rather than into the spotlight intending to help musicians/bands in developing their careers. I decided to move to the US to study at Emerson College, which is specialized in the entertainment field and well-known for its unique alumni network. Within the Los Angeles program I interned at the management company The Firm and at Capitol Records where I gained first experiences in the music business. In 2000 I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Speech.
After returning to Munich I started as a marketing assistant at Virgin Music, which left a lasting impression on me in terms of teamwork and cohesion as well as dealing with – and truly appreciating – artists. After fours years I moved on to EMI Music in Cologne where I was advising on sponsoring-, synch- and cooperation requests as well as conceptualizing and creating compilations i.a. for Amazon and Tchibo.
In 2006 my way then lead to Sony Music where I’ve worked in tv promotion for the past 15 years: first solely responsible for the international repertoire, after being promoted to ‚Head of TV & Moving Images‘ additionally for national artists.
In my 20 years of working for three different major labels and 15 years of tv promotion I‘ve built an extraordinary network in music and media and got to learn all processes behind and in front of the camera. Time to found ‚Vivision.‘
